Seven Counties, Seven Different Housing Stocks
A 1930s semi in Slough, a Georgian terrace in Oxford and a weatherboard cottage in Kent do not fail in the same way, and they do not get fixed the same way either.
Our electricians work the counties they live in. That means knowing which Brighton conversions still have rubber-sheathed cable behind the plaster, why Thames Valley new builds trip on the same circuit every winter, and how far the nearest wholesaler is when a part is needed at two in the morning. It is the difference between a job finished tonight and a second visit tomorrow.
- Bases in every county we cover
- No mileage added to the invoice
- Period, coastal and new build
- Domestic, landlord and commercial
Questions We Get From Across the Region
Answers that apply anywhere in the South East. Your own town page carries the local detail.
Call 02034112027How far outside the main towns do you travel? +
Well beyond them. The towns listed above are where our vans are based, not the limit of where they go. Villages across the Weald, the South Downs, rural Oxfordshire and the Hampshire countryside are all covered, usually with an extra fifteen to twenty minutes on the arrival time.
Is there a travel charge for the South East? +
No. Whether you are five minutes from our Maidstone base or forty minutes out towards the coast, the call-out price is the same. We would rather quote one honest figure than add mileage at the end.
Can you work on listed and period properties? +
Yes. Kent oast houses, Oxford terraces, Brighton townhouses and Victorian seafront conversions are routine for us. Where a building is listed we work to keep intervention minimal and visible cabling to a minimum, and we will tell you up front if a job needs consent before it starts.
Do you cover coastal properties? +
Yes, and we see what salt air does to consumer units, outdoor sockets and garden lighting along the Sussex and Hampshire coast. Corrosion behind a faceplate often explains a fault that looks mysterious from the front.
Can you attend business parks and commercial units? +
Yes. Thames Valley business parks around Reading, Slough and Milton Keynes, plus retail and hospitality across the region. We can work out of hours so your trading day is not interrupted, at the same rate.
How quickly can you reach a village at night? +
Dark country roads add time, so we are honest about it on the phone rather than promising thirty minutes to somewhere that takes fifty. If the fault can be made safe while we travel, we talk you through that first.
